Need You Now, the newest standalone in the Man of the Month Series by #1 New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner is LIVE!
Charming smile. Wicked skills.
Meet Mr. March.
With his tousled hair, cocky grin, and surprising abs hidden under a conservative button-down, bartender Cameron Reed is no stranger to the attention of women.
He dates, but never gets serious, claiming that he’s too focused on his studies. But it’s not really school that preoccupies him; it’s sensual fantasies of his best friend’s sister.
Mina Silver might be absolutely off-limits because of her overprotective brother and father, but that doesn’t stop Cam from imagining the feel of her in his arms, the brush of his lips over her soft skin, or the sparks that would fly between them if he ever got her into bed.
But for Cam, the bonds of family and friendship are sacrosanct, and there is no way that he’d ever violate his friend’s trust. Or would he?
Because with love on the line, maybe it’s time for Cam to break a few rules.
Taking a risk never felt so right.
**Hold On Tight is part of a binge read series by New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly, and #1 International bestselling author of the million copy Stark series, J. Kenner.

My rating:
4 of 5 stars
3.5 Crazy Ass Stars!!!
I'm loving this series and seeing the lengths all the characters go to to help save The Fix. I was eager to get my hand on Cam's story. He and Mina's interactions in the previous book intrigued me.
While this book didn't have that intense, serious side like Hold On Tight did, I still found it an enjoyable read. However, I did feel that it was a little choppy at times. I get that this a novella and the amount of details is limited. I just felt a disconnect in the interactions between Mina, Darryl, and Cam. Those scenes with Darryl felt forced.
I did like that we get a cameo from a few characters from other series by J. Kenner. I just love when an author incorporates characters from other series into her newer series giving them a sense of interconnectedness (wow, wasn't sure if that was a word I was making up but low and behold autocorrect hooked me up). I actually didn't remember about Cam in Wicked Torture until a certain character was mentioned and then it all clicked into place. My favorite though was the appearance of one of Kenner's other couples. I just love to catch with them. No, I am not saying who. You'll just have to read to find out.
I loved Cam's character. I'm a sucker for the Hot Nerd type. I just couldn't connect with Mina's character. Don't get me wrong. She was funny and I liked her character at times. Maybe it was her whole reluctance against a relationship thing and her reasonings behind it but something was just off for me.
Ooohhh, I'm so excited to read book 4. That particular character has caught my attention and I need more of him especially after that prologue. It's sounding like it's going to be a steamy one. *rubs hand together in anticipation*
